Event will showcase innovation in orthopedic care
NOBLESVILLE, IN. (Aug. 19, 2025) – The International Orthopedic Education Network (IOEN) is breaking new ground and it’s happening in Noblesville at the Indiana Orthopedic Institute (IOI). On September 12–13, IOI will host IOEN’s signature program, marking the first time this renowned event has ever been held inside a flagship ambulatory surgery center (ASC).
This year’s program won’t be a typical conference. Attendees won’t just learn about the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery, but they’ll also see them in action. Participants will have the rare opportunity to observe a live surgical procedure inside IOI’s state-of-the-art facility, gaining real-time insights into surgical techniques, technology, and patient care. For those unable to attend in person, the entire program – including the live surgical sessions – will also be available via real-time streaming, allowing participants from anywhere in the world to experience the event virtually.
Beyond the operating room, attendees will explore practical strategies and gain expert insights into the clinical and business sides of ASC ownership and operations. This unique educational experience will be held in the immersive setting of the newly opened Indiana Orthopedic Institute, offering direct access to real-world ASC operations while you learn.
Faculty-led sessions will focus on key topics designed to ensure long-term success, including:
- Fundamentals Every Surgeon Should Know
- Technologies for Success in the ASC
- Optimizing Patient Encounters
- Partnering with Industry
- Attracting and Recruiting the Next Generation of Surgeons
“This is an incredible opportunity to learn alongside peers, engage with industry leaders, and experience ASC practices firsthand,” said Dr. Michael Meneghini, vice president of IOEN, as well as founder/CEO of IOI and chief market development officer at Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo). “Hosting this event in an ASC changes the game – it’s immersive, engaging, and truly hands-on.”
With IOI’s reputation for excellence and IOEN’s mission to elevate orthopedic education worldwide, the event promises unmatched learning, networking, and inspiration.
Attendees can also make plans to join the optional Pre-Course: Value-Based Care in the ASC on Thursday, September 11, 2025. This session is included with full registration or can be attended separately.
“This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for orthopedic surgeons, fellows, residents, and other musculoskeletal professionals,” said Lexie Hogge, corporate relations manager for IOEN. “Seats are limited, and we encourage anyone interested to register now.”

About International Orthopedic Education Network
The world of orthopedic education is ever-changing and most pronounced during the COVID pandemic. Instantaneously live meetings ceased, and virtual meetings became the norm. Despite changes in how we practice medicine the need for in-person interactive orthopedic education remains. Surgeons and providers want high-quality, targeted, and practice-improving information.
The International Orthopedic Education Network started in 2023. IOEN is a 501c3 registered nonprofit orthopedic education platform founded on principles of providing a new level of orthopedic education – pragmatic, targeted, and practice-changing. Through four precision educational courses per year, IOEN will provide an educational experience for arthroplasty surgeons and providers to build their knowledge and skill sets. These in-person meetings will feature the best, brightest, and most diverse thought leaders in arthroplasty. Some courses will feature hands-on cadaver labs in addition to an intimate learning environment with faculty and participant engagement. We are excited to offer the next generation of orthopedic education to our residents, fellows, and arthroplasty colleagues. For more information, go to www.orthoed.org.
