He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has served as Chairman of Orthopaedics and as Medical Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.

Dr. Hogg was born in Bluffton, Indiana and raised on the family farm. He received his undergraduate degree from DePauw University, where he achieved summa cum laude in biochemistry and competed in track and cross country.

He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
