Dr. Meghan Roby is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to working with each patient and their wider care team to achieve exceptional outcomes that reduce pain and increase mobility.
What she love most about foot and ankle care is getting patients back to doing what they love and being a part of that journey with them.
Her expertise includes ankle replacement, foot and ankle reconstructive surgeries, deformity and bunion correction, sports medicine, pediatric foot and ankle conditions, and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Roby was drawn to Indiana Orthopedic Institute because of its research-guided, highly coordinated care focused on high-quality outcomes and patient experience.
Dr. Roby has pursued comprehensive training in podiatric medicine, culminating in the highly regarded Indy Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship under Dr. J. Michael Miller in Indianapolis, Indiana. The program offers fellows high-volume, hands-on surgical training in reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery.
She completed the OhioHealth Grant Medical Center Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency, which included reconstructive rearfoot and ankle training. Dr. Roby also served as chief resident and lab coordinator. She earned her doctorate in podiatric medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio.
Active in research, Dr. Roby co-authored numerous posters and contributed to publications such as the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Podiatry Today on issues related to foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Roby earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, where she was also a standout track and field athlete. A sprinter, she was a nine-time NCAA Division II Track and Field All-American and in 2020 was honored as Bellarmine’s track and field athlete of the decade. She is a native of Mt. Washington, Kentucky.
Outside of work she enjoys watching college football, running, spending time with friends, family, and her Aussie Mountain Doodle, Millie.
