Experienced healthcare executive brings more than two decades of leadership in healthcare operations, financial performance and organizational transformation
Indiana Orthopedic Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer M. Worthy, MBA, as Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience to the growing physician-led orthopedic organization.
Worthy has built her career leading healthcare organizations through periods of growth, transformation and operational change, with experience spanning orthopedic and multispecialty physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, specialty hospital operations, physical therapy, and large multistate healthcare enterprises.
As Chief Operating Officer, Worthy will help lead Indiana Orthopedic Institute through its next stage of growth, with a focus on building scalable operations, strengthening organizational infrastructure, supporting physicians and staff, and ensuring that growth continues to be anchored in quality, value and the patient experience. In addition to its flagship Noblesville facility, IOI operates centers in Terre Haute and Fort Wayne and clinics in Greenwood and Brazil, IN.
Most recently, Ms. Worthy served as Executive Vice President of Revenue Optimization for Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo), where she directed enterprise-wide revenue cycle transformation across a large, national network of orthopedic providers. Her work focused on building scalable operating models, improving financial performance, strengthening organizational accountability, and aligning people, processes and technology around measurable outcomes.

Before HOPCo, Worthy held executive and senior leadership positions with WebPT, Tenet Healthcare and Mid Coast Hospital. Earlier in her career, she served in a leadership capacity with Central Maine Orthopaedics, a large private orthopedic practice with 30 providers, outpatient physical therapy and an ambulatory surgery center.
For Worthy, the opportunity to join Indiana Orthopedic Institute represents both a professional milestone and a return to where her healthcare leadership career began.

Worthy earned both her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Purdue University Global. She is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds multiple healthcare finance and revenue cycle credentials.
Beyond her executive work, Worthy is an active healthcare writer and speaker and serves on the Board of Directors of the Veteran Cancer Network, a nonprofit focused on earlier cancer detection and support for veterans, and She Thrives, a nonprofit dedicated to helping domestic violence survivors rebuild their lives through education and access to critical resources.
